Pro Wash/Dry: Setup and First Wash Cycle

A step-by-step guide for your first cleaning cycle with Pro Wash/Dry.

Overview

Pro Wash/Dry is a fully automated two-stage wash and dry system designed for SprintRay Pro printers. It supports both direct platform washing and basket washing depending on the type and size of printed parts. This guide walks you through choosing the correct wash method and performing your first cycle.

What’s in the Box

Your Pro Wash/Dry package includes:

• Pro Wash/Dry unit
• Power cable
• Hydrometers (pre-installed for each chamber)
• Wash basket
• Build platform adaptor (for Pro55 / Pro55 S)
• Metal tweezers
• Cleaning brush
• Drain hose (pre-installed)
• Wash filter

Wash with Print Platform

Pro Wash/Dry is designed to accept SprintRay Pro build platforms directly. This allows the printed parts and platform to be washed simultaneously, reducing handling and workflow steps.

How to Perform a Platform Wash

  1. Remove the wash basket from the chamber.
  2. Place the Pro95 build platform inside the wash cradle.
  3. If using a Pro55 platform, attach the required adaptor before inserting.
  4. Confirm the platform is fully seated.
  5. Select your preferred wash cycle from the touchscreen.
  6. Pro Wash/Dry will automatically detect the platform and begin the two-stage wash and dry cycle.

Recommended for prints shorter than 4 inches.

Wash with Basket

Use the basket when washing loose parts or models too large to remain attached to the platform.

How to Perform a Basket Wash

  1. Place your prints inside the basket.
  2. Close the chamber lid securely.
  3. The system will not begin washing unless the lid is closed.
  4. Select the desired wash cycle from the touchscreen.
  5. Allow Pro Wash/Dry to complete the full two-stage wash and dry.
