Overview
Proper IPA care and routine maintenance are essential for consistent cleaning performance and long-term reliability of your ProWash S. This guide explains how to monitor, replace, and handle IPA, as well as how to clean internal components and prepare the unit for periods of non-use.
When to Replace IPA
Replace IPA when:
• The touchscreen prompts you
• A hydrometer floats
• Cleaning results become inconsistent
How to Drain IPA
ProWash S includes a pre-installed drain hose clipped to the back of the unit.
- Remove the drain hose from the holder.
- Press the metal inlet tip into the drainage port until it clicks into place.
- Place the free end of the hose into an approved IPA waste container.
- Release the safety clamp to begin draining.
- When finished, slide the outer ring of the drain port away from you to disengage the hose.
Repeat for both chambers as needed.
How to Add Fresh IPA
- Open the reservoir lid.
- Add at least 500 mL of IPA to each chamber.
• Recommended: 91 percent IPA
• 99 percent IPA can be used, but level sensors may require several cycles to recognize the IPA.Accordion Body

Tank cleaning should be performed each time IPA is replaced.

- Replace the hydrometer and repeat for the second chamber.
How to Clean the Mesh Filter
The mesh filter protects internal plumbing from debris and should be cleaned when prompted on the screen.
- Unscrew the filter.
- Rinse under cold water to remove debris.
- Reinstall securely.
Long-Term Storage Guidelines
If you will not be using ProWash S for a while:
• Keep the unit plugged in so it remains ready for use.
• Ensure both chambers contain fresh IPA, not saturated IPA.
• Close the reservoir lid to reduce evaporation.
