System Requirements for RayWare

You don’t need a supercomputer to run RayWare, but it is important that your computer is runs a 64-bit operating system with an I5 or better/equivalent CPU manufactured in 2014 or later.

For the best experience use a computer with a high speed graphics card.

Mac

You can easily check for these requirements on Mac by clicking the Apple icon in the top left corner and pressing About This Mac. This will bring up a screen showing the stats of your computer, including its production year. Many iterations of MacOS are supported, but for best results, always use the latest version.

Windows

On PC, you can view details about your system by typing “About Your PC” into the search bar next to the start button. Windows will then display the CPU type along with other important stats about your computer. You can look up your CPU model on a site like CPUboss to determine its manufacture year. Windows 10 is the only version of Microsoft Windows that we support.

Other Factors

You will have a better experience if you have a more powerful system. However, we have plenty of users who use value-oriented computers with no issues. Typically, your scanning and design software is more demanding than RayWare.

If you’re unsure whether your computer can support RayWare, it’s free to download! Import models, add supports, and save a print job. If your computer can handle all of these functions, then it’s extremely likely that it will work when it comes time to connect a print er.

If you experience crashes or problems with RayWare, reach out to our customer support team to see if there are changes that can be made to resolve your issue.
