Missing Drivers During RayWare Installation

During RayWare installation, you might see a red X and the following error:

X Microsoft Modem (06/21/2006 6.1.7601.18247) Install Failed
X Soon Solid (usbser) Ports (12/01/2014 1.2.0) Install Failed

This may be because Microsoft Driver Signature Enforcement is enabled.

Please do the following to disable the driver signature enforcement in Windows 8 and10, and then try installing the RayWare again:

While holding down the SHIFT key on your keyboard, go to Power --> Restart.

During restart, you will be taken to “Choose an Option” screen. Click “Troubleshoot”.

Then click “Advanced Options”.

Click “Startup Settings”.

Click "Restart".

After the second computer restart, you’ll be taken to the screen below with numbered option. Press the number key 7 on your keyboard to Disable driver signature enforcement.

Note: If pressing the number key doesn’t work, try hitting F7.

Your computer will restart for the third time. This time, you’ll be taken back to Windows and you can now install RayWare.
