If you rely on 3D printing for your daily practice workflow, printer downtime can be detrimental to your practice. Our extended service plans come with complimentary hot swap printers, which means that we'll ship you a working model to use before you send us your non-functional unit for repair. This process minimizes downtime and allows you to keep printing, even if problems arise.
The hot swap process
If you've purchased one of our extended warranty plans, you'll likely be eligible to receive a hot swap printer. This means that our customer support team will send a fully functional replacement printer to your office so that you won't have to experience production downtime once we determine a repair is needed for your original unit.
We will provide a return label and send you the hot swap agreement to sign when we determine a repair is needed. At that point we'll ship you a refurbished printer to keep! All our printers pass rigorous QA standards and will be like-new. Then, you'll send your old printer back and we'll repair it without you needing to wait.
