For Windows PCs:
Step 1. Turn off Pro Cure and unplug it from power.
- Toggle the rear power switch to the off position
- Unplug the power cable from the power plug port
- Note: the Pro Cure must be disconnected from power to successfully update
Step 2. Connect Pro Cure to your computer with a USB-A to USB-B cable
● This must be done only after the machine is disconnected from the power
Step 3. Locate the Pro-Cure in Windows File Explorer
- To open File Explorer, click on the File Explorer icon located in the taskbar. Alternatively, you can open File Explorer by clicking on the Start button and then clicking on File Explorer or use the keyboard shortcut (WIndows Key + E)
- The Pro-Cure will appear as a USB DISK (D:) on your computer
- If the Pro-Cure does not appear right away, unplug the USB from your computer, then plug back in
Step 4. Format the Pro-Cure USB drive
- Right click on the USB drive location
- Select Format
Step 5. Download these two files to your computer
(Right click to save the files below)
- version.txt (4 Bytes)
- procure.bin (400 KB)
Step 6. Manually add the following two files to the Pro-Cure USB to replace the previously deleted files
- Note the files must appear exactly as is, be sure the files are not URL links but rather files containing actual data
- This can be done manually by selecting the files then sending them to the correct location
- Files can also be dragged and dropped from quick download bar
Step 7. Properly eject the Pro-Cure USB drive
- Utilize the eject function on your computer before physically removing the cable
- Right click on the USB drive and select eject
- Remove the USB-A to USB-B cable completely from the Pro-Cure
- If the cable remains attached to the Pro-Cure the machine will sense a connection and the process may not complete correctly
Step 8. Power on the Pro-Cure
- Plug in the power cord
- Turn the Pro-Cure power switch to the on position
For Mac
Step 1. Turn off Pro Cure and unplug it from power.
- Toggle the rear power switch to the off position
- Unplug the power cable from the power plug port
- Note: the Pro Cure must be disconnected from power to successfully update
Step 2. Connect Pro Cure to your computer with a USB-A to USB-B cable
● This must be done only after the machine is disconnected from the power
Step 3. Download these two files to your computer
(Right click to save the files below)
- version.txt (4 Bytes)
- procure.bin (400 KB)
Step 4. Format the Drive using Disk Utility
You will format the drive via Disk Utility. When opening Disk Utility on your Mac, you should see the ProCure show up as a USB drive on the left side. Select the drive and click "Erase". You should see a window pop up, please ensure the Format Selected is ExFAT as this is the format compatible with both Mac and Windows. Once selected, click erase. This will erase and format the drive.
Once you are done with the format, open a new finder window. Drag and drop both procure.bin and version.txt files onto the ProCure's USB drive.
Once you've copied both files onto the drive, you will eject the drive. Unplug the USB cable from the ProCure
Step 5. Power on the Pro-Cure
- Plug in the power cord
- Turn the Pro-Cure power switch to the on position
