ProWash: S Not Detecting Build Platform

Learn how to troubleshoot ProWash when it's not detecting the build platform.

Build Platform Magnet Installation

Overview

The Pro Wash/Dry and ProWash S use a magnetic sensor to detect when a build platform is inserted for Platform Wash cycles. Pro S and Pro 2 platforms include this magnet internally. Pro95 and Pro55 platforms do not, so a magnetic sticker must be installed for the ProWash to recognize them during washing.

This article explains when the magnet is needed and how to install it properly.

How to Install the Magnet on Pro95 / Pro55 Platforms

  1. Clean the platform surface
Thoroughly wipe the designated side of the build platform to remove resin, dust, or debris.
A clean surface ensures the adhesive bonds properly.
  2. Remove the backing from the magnet sticker
Avoid touching the adhesive with your fingers.
  3. Apply the magnet firmly
Press the sticker onto the cleaned surface, ensuring full contact along all edges.
  4. Check for secure adhesion
The magnet must be fully attached before placing the platform into ProWash S.

Once installed, the magnet allows ProWash S to detect the platform and start Platform Wash cycles.
