Overview
If ProWash S is not pumping IPA into or out of the wash chamber, the cause is usually insufficient IPA volume or air trapped in the internal plumbing. This article explains how to check IPA levels and how to manually flush the system using the built-in plumbing tools.
Check IPA Level
ProWash S requires a minimum amount of IPA in each reservoir to operate the pumps correctly.
• Ensure each tank contains at least 500 mL of IPA
• Confirm the fluid reaches the minimum fill line inside the reservoir
• Add more IPA if levels are below the required volume
Low IPA levels prevent the system from transferring IPA and can cause the pumps to stall.
Flush with IPA Transfer
During long periods without use, residual IPA inside the pumps may evaporate. This can leave air pockets in the plumbing, which prevents the system from moving solvent properly.
ProWash S includes an automatic pump-cycling feature that runs after extended dormancy, but manual flushing may still be required.
Run the Plumbing Check
If IPA is not pumping normally:
• Go to the Device Status menu on the touchscreen
• Select Plumbing Check
• Allow the system to cycle IPA through the pumps
This process removes trapped air and re-primes the fluid lines.
