A hard reset is often recommended when a device becomes unresponsive, fails to connect to the network, or experiences unexpected behavior. Always ensure the device is not actively printing, washing, or curing before performing a reset.

Midas, Pro 2, and Nanocure
Follow these steps to perform a hard reset on these SprintRay devices:
- Press the power button on the back of the device and select Power Off on the touchscreen.
- Once the device has powered down, unplug the power cord from the back of the unit.
- With the power cord unplugged, press and hold the power button on the back for 30 seconds, then release it.
- Plug the power cord back into the device.
- Press the power button to turn the device back on and allow it to fully boot to the home screen.
Pro S, Pro, Pro Wash S, ProCure 2, and ProCure
Follow these steps to perform a hard reset on these SprintRay devices:
- Flip the power switch on the back of the device to the OFF position.
- With the device turned OFF, unplug the power cord from the back of the unit.
- While the power cord remains unplugged, flip the power switch on the back of the device to the ON position.
- Leave the device unplugged with the switch in the ON position for at least one full minute.
Important:
The device must remain unplugged while the switch is in the ON position. This drains any residual electrical charge and ensures the device fully resets.
- After one minute has passed, flip the power switch back to the OFF position.
- Plug the power cord back into the device.
- Flip the power switch to the ON position and allow the device to fully boot up.
When to Perform a Hard Reset
A hard reset may help resolve issues such as:
• Device not responding to touchscreen input
• Network or connectivity issues
• Software behaving unexpectedly
• Devices stuck during certain operations
