ProCure 2: Setup and First Cure

A step-by-step guide to setting up ProCure 2 and completing your first post-curing cycle.

In the Box

Before setup, confirm that all components are included:

  • ProCure 2
  • Model tray
  • Power cable
  • USB cable
  • Onboarding card

If anything is missing or damaged, contact SprintRay Support before proceeding.

Where to Set Up

Place ProCure 2 on a flat, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Choose a location that is:

  • Away from windows and direct sunlight
  • Protected from extreme temperatures and bright UV light sources
  • Clear of obstructions around the back and bottom ventilation areas

Caution:
Hot air exhausts through vents on the back and bottom of ProCure 2. Do not block these openings during operation.

Plug In ProCure 2

Use the provided power cable to connect ProCure 2 to a grounded surge protector or uninterrupted power supply.

  • Use the rear power switch to turn the device on
  • The power switch can also be used for a hard reset or full power disconnect if needed

Once powered on, follow the on-screen setup prompts.

Select Language and Connect to Network

During first-time setup, ProCure 2 will prompt you to:

  1. Select your preferred language
  2. Connect to a local Wi-Fi network

You can also access available networks at any time by tapping the Wi-Fi icon at the top of the touchscreen and entering your network password.

An active internet connection enables:

  • Automatic software updates
  • Cloud-connected material profiles
  • Smart job handoff from other SprintRay devices

Install the Model Tray

  1. Pull the handle to open the drawer-style curing tray
  2. Place the model tray onto the two side tracks inside the chamber
  3. Gently close the drawer to confirm proper seating

The tray should sit evenly and slide smoothly when installed correctly.

Height Limit

All parts placed inside ProCure 2 must be 3 inches (75 mm) or shorter.

  • Use the height indicator on the model tray to verify clearance
  • Do not force the drawer closed if parts exceed the height limit

Closing the drawer on oversized parts may cause permanent damage to the device.

First Cure: Using ProCure 2

Before curing, ensure all printed parts are fully washed and dried.

  1. Open the drawer using the handle
  2. Place models on the model tray
  3. Select the curing zone from the touchscreen:
    1. Zone A for small or single jobs
    2. Zones A + B for larger batches
  4. Select the appropriate material or queued job
  5. Tap Start to begin curing

ProCure 2 will automatically manage light output and heat for the selected workflow.

Caution:
The exterior of ProCure 2 may become warm during operation. Do not cover vents or place items on top of the unit.
