ProCure 2: Overview

A brief introduction to the ProCure 2 Curing Unit

Overview

ProCure 2 is one of SprintRay’s advanced post-curing system, engineered to deliver fast, consistent, and reliable curing for in-office dental 3D printing. Designed specifically for chairside workflows, ProCure 2 combines high-intensity light and instantaneous heat to fully cure printed parts in minutes, with no preheating required.

Key Capabilities

Ultra-Fast Post-Curing

ProCure 2 is designed to dramatically reduce post-processing time. Most dental appliances can be fully cured in five minutes or less, enabling true same-appointment workflows and reducing overall production time in the clinic.

Light Motion Drive Technology

At the core of ProCure 2 is a custom-built UVA light engine that delivers concentrated 385 nm light. The patented wishbone-style Light Motion Drive scans across the curing chamber, ensuring uniform light exposure and consistent curing across all parts.

Instant, Localized Heating

Instead of relying on ambient chamber heating, ProCure 2 generates heat directly on the printed parts through high-intensity light exposure. This localized heating approach eliminates warm-up time while optimizing mechanical properties and biocompatibility.

Advanced Thermodynamics

Active and passive thermal systems work together to maintain optimal curing temperatures while keeping the exterior cool to the touch. Heat generated during curing is efficiently recycled within the chamber for maximum performance and safety.

Workflow Integration

Chairside Throughput

ProCure 2 is built for high-volume, in-office production. Its removable glass curing tray supports batch processing, while Dual Zone Curing allows users to balance speed and capacity depending on the number of parts being cured.

Smart Connectivity

With Wi-Fi and an onboard computer, ProCure 2 connects to SprintRay Cloud to receive software updates and synchronized material curing profiles automatically. The Live Materials Library ensures curing parameters stay current without manual input.

Designed for Dental Materials

ProCure 2 supports a wide range of SprintRay dental materials, including crowns, surgical guides, night guards, dentures, and models. Optimized curing profiles help ensure predictable mechanical strength, surface quality, and clinical performance.
