Connecting Your Pro 2

An active internet connection is required for sending print jobs, receiving updates, and communicating with SprintRay Cloud.

Wireless Connection

  • Select the desired Wi-Fi network when prompted.
  • Enter the network password.

This option is recommended for most offices.

Wired Connection

  • Connect an Ethernet cable to the rear LAN port.
  • Select the LAN option during setup.

This option is recommended for locations with advanced security protocols or weak Wi-Fi signals.

If connectivity issues occur, a network administrator may need to adjust the firewall or security settings.

The Pro 2 build platform uses a magnetic locking mechanism.

  • Seat the print platform on the Z-axis arm.
  • Turn the red knob counter-clockwise to lock the platform in place.
  • Turn the knob clockwise to unlock it for removal.

Tip: Removing the platform before removing the resin tank helps minimize cleanup.

Resin Tank

The resin tank is pre-installed.

Key handling guidelines:

  • Always lift the tank using the handles on each side.
  • Do not lift the tank by the wiper arm or tank walls.

Filling the Resin Tank

  1. Shake the resin bottle thoroughly before use.
  2. Scan the resin bottle using the front barcode scanner or select the resin manually on the touchscreen.
  3. Pour resin into the tank until the level sits between the Min and Max lines.

Sending Print Files to Pro 2

Print jobs are prepared through Print Setup or ordered through Cloud Design services.

  • Visit account.sprintray.com to send jobs to the printer.
  • Once a job is sent, the Pro 2 touchscreen will provide guided instructions.
  • Pro 2 continues printing even if the connected computer disconnects from the network, provided the printer remains powered.

First Print Workflow
