Remove resin tank

To clean the tank, begin by removing the tank from its cradle in the printer. For detailed instructions on removing the tank, revisit our tank removal instructions.

Empty the tank

If there is any liquid resin left in the tank, pour it back into the original resin bottle through a mesh strainer to ensure no hardened chunks can contaminate your bottle.

Remove large resin chunks

If your tank has any partially-cured chunks of resin stuck to the bottom, peel them away gently. Take care not to use abrasive tools, as the bottom of the resin tank is extremely fragile.

Spray the tank with IPA

Using IPA 91% or greater, spray the inside of the tank. Wait a few moments to let the IPA break down any resin it comes in contact with. Wipe out the inside of the tank with a soft cloth or paper towel. Repeat until the tank is completely clean.

We can help with that!
