Submitting a New Treatment

This article will guide you through creating a new treatment case, uploading files, and submitting it for design in SprintRay Cloud.

Overview

SprintRay Cloud Design allows you to quickly submit digital cases for a wide range of appliances and restorations. Whether you are ordering an AI-generated night guard or a technician-crafted denture, the submission process follows a consistent, streamlined workflow. The steps below walk you through creating a case from start to finish.

Step 1: Sign In

Go to dashboard.sprintray.com and sign in using your SprintRay Cloud credentials.
Once you are logged in, you will see the full Dashboard where you can access Cloud Design, Print Setup, Cloud Drive, and more.

Step 2: Start a New Treatment

Click the Design tab in the top navigation bar.
Select New Treatment to begin creating a new case.

Step 3: Add or Select a Patient

Choose one of the following:

Add New Patient and enter the required patient information (first name, last name, gender), or
Select an Existing Patient from your patient list if they have been added previously.

Keeping your patient list organized ensures all future treatments can be easily referenced in one place.

Select New Treatment.

Step 4: Select a Treatment Type

Select the type of appliance or restoration you would like designed.
For example, you may choose AI Night Guard for an automated same-day workflow.

On the left side of the page, review the Treatment Notes.
This section outlines submission requirements and provides an overview of the design deliverables you can expect for the selected treatment.

Step 5: Enter Treatment Details

Complete the Treatment Details form.
Required fields will vary depending on the appliance type selected. Provide as much information as possible to ensure an accurate design.

Once all required fields are complete, click Next.

Step 6: Upload Patient Files

Upload all required scans and records for the chosen treatment.

Most workflows require:
• Upper and lower intraoral scans
• Bite scans in occlusion

Some advanced workflows may require additional materials such as photogrammetry files or reference models.

Files can be uploaded in two ways:
• Drag and drop from your computer, or
• Choose files stored in your Cloud Drive

If you are missing required files, use Save & Close to pause the case and return later.

Step 7: Review and Submit

Review your treatment summary, treatment notes, and payment details.
Confirm all information is correct and all required files are included.

Click Submit to send your case for design.

Step 8: Receive Treatment

  • Once your design is ready, you will receive both an email notification and a message inside Cloud Design.
  • Open the case to review the proposed design.
If revisions are needed, request changes directly within the case.
  • Once you approve the design, your printable files will become available for download or can be sent directly to Print Setup.
