ProWash/Dry: IPA Not Transferring Back to Tank

Resolve issues where IPA does not return to the reservoirs after a wash cycle.

Overview

If IPA is not transferring back to the tanks after a wash cycle, the most common causes are air trapped in the pumps or a clogged wash chamber filter. This article outlines how to prime the pumps and clean the filter to restore normal operation.

Flush with IPA Transfer

Over time, IPA inside the ProWash/Dry pumps may dry out, allowing air bubbles to form in the plumbing system. These air pockets can prevent proper solvent transfer.

To prime the pumps:

  1. Navigate to the IPA transfer function on the touchscreen.
  2. Run the transfer process between the tanks for at least 15 minutes.

This process helps flush out trapped air and restore normal pump operation.

Clean the Wash Chamber Filter

A clogged filter can restrict IPA flow and prevent solvent from transferring back to the tanks.

Remove

  1. Clear the area around the filter to prevent debris from falling into the plumbing.
  2. Turn the filter counterclockwise by hand to remove it.

Clean

  1. Flush the filter with IPA to remove resin buildup.
  2. Use the provided tweezers to remove any debris trapped in the mesh.

Install

  1. Reinsert the filter into the opening.
  2. Turn clockwise and hand tighten securely.
